Buffy: Paleo coverEnjoying the Creators' Events

Hi there
I am so sorry that I had to be rude and leave before the end of Yvonne Navarro's interview on Thursday. I do hope that Stig conveyed my apologies to both of you.
She really is a super person and it is so interesting to get to meet successful people and hear their points of view. Some of her tips for aspiring authors were very useful too.
I am constantly amazed by the creativity and imagination of people, it really fascinates me. I would like to commend you on these events. They are great.
Regards,
Linda (Linsue)

Thanks, Linsue. Working with authors and others direct, and with their publishers, we plan to bring you many more events like this in future. More good news: Yvonne Navarro has kindly agreed to make a return visit to VZSciFi in September, to coincide with the release of her original Buffy the Vampire Slayer novel, Paleo.

More Heads

Hi!
I love the new zone but how about some new heads?
Boober

No new heads just yet, but we're working on them. Anyone got any more ideas for scifi objects? Let us know.

Archie the Android
I like Archie and the fact that he is promoting the web sites of various charities, but how do you pick them?
Cosmic Dave

We're trying to select charities either currently in the news, or those suggested by members. For example, Luvcakes suggested March for Dimes (a charity supported by several science fiction actors, incidentally), and temporal engineer Mr. Templeton was passing by and changed the URL right then and there. We're trying to rotate the URLs as much as possible to give space to as many deserving causes as we can.

By the way, that reminds me to mention that many of the objects in VZSciFi are linked to various URLs, and you might want to start readings the TMAs of items too. You might learn a thing or two... and it's the only way to catch those polymorphs! -- John Freeman, VZSciFi Project Manager
