Leoni, wife of X-Files star David Duchovny,
is in final negotiations to star in Jurassic Park
III, according to Hollywood Reporter. Principal
photography is slated to start this month in Hawaii
before moving to the Universal lot.
The project reteams Leoni with the studio for which
she recently completed a starring role in Universal/Beacon
Communications' Family Man opposite Nicolas
Cage. Leoni will play a romantic interest and business
associate to a wealthy businessman (William H. Macy).

his role from the original Jurassic Park); Alessandro
Nivola (a graduate student),
William H. Macy (a wealthy businessman
- Macy's
previous Universal credits include Mystery Men
and 1998's Psycho);
Tea
Leoni; Trevor Morgan plays Macy's son.
Script: The
writing credits on the completed script, which is
being kept under wraps, have not been finalised
Producers: Kathleen Kennedy and Larry Franco.
The Guardian reported on 1 August 2000 that Steven
Spielberg has also agreed to produce, and he will
earn 20 per cent of the 'first dollar gross' that
the film takes at the box office. The first two Jurassic
Park movies made over $1.6bn.

Production Notes: Eight
stages are being utilised for the film at at Universal.
An 18-week shoot was expected to start in August in
Hawaii before moving to the Universal lot. Our
